“When I decided I was going to take a cooperative education program, I thought it would be an easy 2 high school credits. What I didn’t see at the time is that it was so much more.” Says a former co-op student. “It was a very valuable work experience. You are in a safe and educational environment where you get an appetizer of a career you are considering. I now have decided that I want to go to school for an electrician. In the short period of time you learn so much. It’s just as educational as sitting in school. I always have been a hands on learner and that’s why I think the co-op program did so much for me.”
